You are at least 18 years of age.

 

You are of sincere and honorable intent.

 

You are not diagnosed with any emotional or psychological disorders or under medication for such disorders at this time.

 

You are not involved in a divorce, lawsuit, or other major life trauma at this time.

 

You keep your promises and do not break oaths, ever.

 

You have a healthy attitude toward sexuality. (Witchcraft is a fertility religion filled with sexual metaphors.)

 

You prefer tradition over eclecticism and politically correct feel-good rites.

 

You have an intense desire to follow the Path of the Wicca and the time necessary to pursue it.

 

You are ready to commit years, even decades to this path.

 

You are not a "public pagan" who feels the need to wear your spirituality on your sleeve.

 

You have an independent source of income. (This means not on any type of public assistance.)

 

You have a means of transportation and a telephone.

 

You are willing to train for at least a  year and a day.

The Wicca do not initiate people that are not known to us personally. For this reason there is a traditional waiting period of one year and a day for new applicants before they are considered for initiation into the Coven and the Wicca. During this waiting period new applicants are inducted into our pagan grove and must attend rites or other meetings every other week with minimal absences. There is required reading, discussion, exercises, and other challenges that must be completed during this period of time. Applicants who fall behind in the schedule or misrepresent themselves to us are dropped immediately. 

If you feel that you meet the above pre-requisites please e-mail us a completed questionnaire. Include a phone number that the Lady of the Coven or her designated representative can reach you at in the evenings. Our phone number will be masqued so if you don't take calls from unknown callers then we simply won't be able to contact you. We do not leave phone numbers on unknown answering machines. If you want to be contacted please don't make it difficult for us to do so. After chatting on the phone we will set up a date for your first interview.
